A simple and comforting tuna noodle casserole recipe, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 cup cooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed potato chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, chopped onion, and black pepper.
  3. Stir in the drained tuna and cooked egg noodles.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Top with crushed potato chips.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.

Notes

  • For a creamier casserole, you can add a splash of heavy cream.
  • You can substitute cream of celery soup for cream of mushroom soup if preferred.
  • Add frozen peas or corn for extra vegetables.
