Make this smooth, cold, and refreshing frozen strawberry daiquiri at home using fresh and frozen strawberries, rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. It is a perfect summer cocktail for parties or cooling off.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 4 ounces white rum
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen strawberries, fresh strawberries, white rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes into a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a slushy consistency. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  3. Taste the mixture and add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter drink, or more lime juice for tartness. Blend briefly to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into chilled cocktail glasses.
  5. Serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add 1-2 extra ounces of water or limeade base to help the mixture blend smoothly.
  • Adjust the amount of ice based on your desired thickness. Use less ice for a thinner drink.
  • To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water, heat until sugar dissolves, then cool completely before using.
