1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained and flaked
1 (4 ounce) can small shrimp, drained and chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped celery
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
8 refrigerated biscuits
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, combine the drained crab meat, drained and chopped shrimp, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, celery, onion, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to your preference. Stir until well combined.
Split each biscuit in half horizontally to create a top and bottom.
Place the bottom halves of the biscuits on a baking sheet.
Spoon the shrimp and crab mixture evenly onto the bottom halves of the biscuits.
Top each biscuit with the Monterey Jack cheese.
Place the top halves of the biscuits over the cheese.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve immediately.
Notes
You can use fresh, cooked shrimp and crab meat if preferred. Ensure they are finely chopped.
For extra flavor, add a pinch of Old Bay seasoning to the seafood mixture.
If you like a crispier biscuit, you can lightly brush the tops with melted butter before baking.
