Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Press each biscuit quarter into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a shell.
  4. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce into each biscuit shell.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Top with mini pepperoni and Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.

Notes

  • For pull-apart pizza muffins, slightly underbake the biscuit dough before adding toppings.
  • These muffins freeze well. Let them cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
  • You can add other favorite pizza toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
