Make these easy, no-bake pecan pie balls to capture the classic holiday flavor in a simple, bite-sized treat. They are perfect for parties or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for dipping)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth dipping)

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar in a medium bowl. Mix these dry ingredients together well.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the dry mixture. Stir until a thick, uniform dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into small, one-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the pecan balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up before dipping.
  5. Prepare the chocolate coating: Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled ball halfway into the melted chocolate, or coat completely, using a fork to lift and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Return the dipped balls to the parchment-lined sheet. If desired, immediately sprinkle a few extra chopped pecans on top of the wet chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate the finished treats for about 15 minutes, or until the chocolate sets completely.

Notes

  • You can substitute the graham cracker crumbs with vanilla wafer crumbs for a slightly different texture.
  • For a richer flavor, toast the pecans lightly before chopping and adding them to the mix.
  • Store these easy holiday treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
