Bite-sized cheeseburger bombs stuffed with seasoned ground beef and cheese, wrapped in biscuit dough, and baked or air-fried until golden. Brushed with a savory garlic parmesan butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute more. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit slightly.
  6. Place about 1 tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  7. Wrap the biscuit dough around the filling, pinching the seams to seal completely.
  8. Place the stuffed biscuits seam-side down in a greased baking dish or in your air fryer basket.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven, or air fry for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. While the bombs are baking/air frying, melt the butter in a small bowl. Stir in the minced garlic, parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.
  11. Brush the garlic parmesan butter over the hot cheeseburger bombs immediately after they come out of the oven or air fryer.
  12. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For make-ahead, prepare the bombs up to the point of baking and refrigerate on a baking sheet. Bake when ready to serve, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or a special burger sauce.
  • These are perfect for game day parties and gatherings.
