Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard until fully combined. This creates your glaze.
Spoon the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is slightly caramelized.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika to the glaze mixture.
To achieve a slightly crispier top, place the baking sheet under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
This dish pairs well with roasted asparagus or simple white rice for a complete meal.
