Make this ultimate cheesy garlic pull-apart bread for a comforting, shareable side dish or party appetizer. It features soft bread loaded with melted cheese and rich garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf (16 ounces) pre-made refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or a medium round cake pan.
  2. Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the quarters into a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt. Whisk until mixed well.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the biscuit pieces in the bowl. Gently toss until all pieces are coated.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the coated biscuit pieces and toss lightly again to distribute the cheese.
  6. Transfer the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared baking pan, arranging them somewhat evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top layer of the biscuits.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before serving warm directly from the pan.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use high-quality sharp cheddar cheese.
  • If you want a crispier exterior, bake the bread in a disposable aluminum loaf pan.
  • This bread pairs well with pasta dishes or as a main snack for movie night.
