Make restaurant-quality creamy garlic Parmesan pork chops in your skillet in under 30 minutes. This easy one-pan meal is perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops.
  8. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra tender pork chops, do not overcook them. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, or a side salad.
