You can create this stunning, layered Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle without turning on your oven. It features creamy no-bake cheesecake, rich chocolate layers, and a hint of Irish cream, perfect for adult gatherings.
1 package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
1 cup prepared chocolate cake, crumbled (store-bought is fine)
Extra Baileys or chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the cheesecake layer: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Beat in the Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla extract until fully combined. Set aside.
Prepare the whipped cream: In a separate, chilled bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Prepare the pudding layer: In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with the cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Gently fold the remaining half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
Assemble the trifle: Select a large glass trifle bowl or individual serving glasses. Create the first layer with half of the crushed chocolate cookies.
Layer the fillings: Spoon half of the Baileys cheesecake mixture over the cookies. Top the cheesecake layer with half of the crumbled chocolate cake.
Add the next layers: Spread all of the chocolate pudding mixture evenly over the cake layer. Top the pudding with the remaining crumbled chocolate cake.
Finish the layers: Top the cake with the remaining Baileys cheesecake mixture. If desired, create a final light layer using a small amount of whipped cream or a drizzle of extra Baileys or chocolate syrup.
Chill: Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the layers to set and the flavors to meld.
Notes
For an extra impressive presentation, layer the dessert in individual glasses instead of one large bowl.
You can substitute the crumbled chocolate cake with store-bought chocolate fudge brownies for a denser texture.
If you need a non-alcoholic version, replace the Baileys with an equal amount of strong cold coffee or chocolate milk in the cheesecake filling.
Make this dessert ahead of time; it tastes better after chilling overnight.
