- 1 box (15.25 oz) snickerdoodle cake mix
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the apple pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry snickerdoodle cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling. Do not stir.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top.
